Light Talk with The Lumen Brothers

LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers (And SISTER!) is a place where lighting designers can feel free to express what really annoys them about the industry and the art of stage lighting design. Inspired by the beloved NPR radio show, CAR TALK, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers features the musings and rantings of David Jacques, Ellen Lampert-Greaux, Dennis Size, Zac Borovay, and Steve Woods. These five theatre artists have been producing and designing the live stages and broadcast events of the world for many, many decades. Burnt out and abused by the industry and the insanity of the profession, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers takes the rantings of these four theatre artists to the world. Look for our regularly scheduled Podcast discussing the issues of our time. Nothing is Taboo, Nothing is Sacred, and very little makes sense. Welcome to LIGHT TALK!

In this episode of LIGHT TALK, The Lumen Brothers (and SISTAH!) bring their Podcast to LDI 2022 for the fifth year.

Join Anne, Stan, Brackley, and David, as they pontificate about: Turning down shows; New technology at LDI; How to be a guest on LIGHT TALK; How we got the lighting bug; How many assistants do you need to design an opera?; Lighting Industrials and other commercial events; and What the Hell have we NOT talked about?
