Light Talk with The Lumen Brothers

LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers (And SISTER!) is a place where lighting designers can feel free to express what really annoys them about the industry and the art of stage lighting design. Inspired by the beloved NPR radio show, CAR TALK, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers features the musings and rantings of David Jacques, Ellen Lampert-Greaux, Dennis Size, Zac Borovay, and Steve Woods. These five theatre artists have been producing and designing the live stages and broadcast events of the world for many, many decades. Burnt out and abused by the industry and the insanity of the profession, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers takes the rantings of these four theatre artists to the world. Look for our regularly scheduled Podcast discussing the issues of our time. Nothing is Taboo, Nothing is Sacred, and very little makes sense. Welcome to LIGHT TALK!

Join Ellen, Dennis, Steve, Stan, and David, as they pontificate about: LIGHT TALK goes Intergallactical!; Juggling the Super Bowl and the Olympics at the same time; Everything Comcast; Multiple stages around SoFi Stadium; Specifying equipment appropriate for the environment; Running and Gunning at the Super Bowl; The future of broadcast lighting; Training young lighting designers; and sage words for all Americans from a great American playwright.
