Light Talk with The Lumen Brothers

LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers (And SISTER!) is a place where lighting designers can feel free to express what really annoys them about the industry and the art of stage lighting design. Inspired by the beloved NPR radio show, CAR TALK, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers features the musings and rantings of David Jacques, Ellen Lampert-Greaux, Dennis Size, Zac Borovay, and Steve Woods. These five theatre artists have been producing and designing the live stages and broadcast events of the world for many, many decades. Burnt out and abused by the industry and the insanity of the profession, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers takes the rantings of these four theatre artists to the world. Look for our regularly scheduled Podcast discussing the issues of our time. Nothing is Taboo, Nothing is Sacred, and very little makes sense. Welcome to LIGHT TALK!

Dec 25, 2018

In this episode of LIGHT TALK, the Lumen Brothers (and Sistah) present their 2nd annual "Baby It's Cold Outside, So Lets Spend Christmas with The Lumen Brothers Christmas Spectacular!" (OY... What a long tedious title!)

Join Steve, Anne, David and Stan as they dig back into the somewhat leaky vaults of their memories to tell their own personal Christmas Theatrical Disasters. Also, learn more than you ever wanted to know about George Balanchine's Nutcracker!  ...and "The Twelve Episodes of LIGHT TALK".

So light a fire, grab some eggnog, and join the Lumen Brothers (and Sistah) for The 2nd Annual "Baby It's Cold Outside, So Lets Spend Christmas with The Lumen Brothers Christmas Spectacular!"

And remember... Nothing is Taboo, Nothing is Sacred, and Very Little Makes Sense.
