Light Talk with The Lumen Brothers

LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers (And SISTER!) is a place where lighting designers can feel free to express what really annoys them about the industry and the art of stage lighting design. Inspired by the beloved NPR radio show, CAR TALK, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers features the musings and rantings of David Jacques, Ellen Lampert-Greaux, Dennis Size, Zac Borovay, and Steve Woods. These five theatre artists have been producing and designing the live stages and broadcast events of the world for many, many decades. Burnt out and abused by the industry and the insanity of the profession, LIGHT TALK with The Lumen Brothers takes the rantings of these four theatre artists to the world. Look for our regularly scheduled Podcast discussing the issues of our time. Nothing is Taboo, Nothing is Sacred, and very little makes sense. Welcome to LIGHT TALK!

In this episode of LIGHT TALK, The Lumen Brothers and Sister talk about everything from Keeping your Atmospheres Beautiful, to Our New Color, "Olo".

Join Ellen, Steve, David, and Stan as they pontificate about: Girls on the Town!;  A new color no one has ever seen before;  New hope for Color Blindness; More news from Texas; Best technques for lighting an orchestra;  Lighting toilets in grand Central Station; Adding facial visibility to dark and textured atmospheres; Delivering brutal honesty with style; Light and Health; and The differences in "top-shelf" lighting consoles.

Nothing is Taboo, Nothing is Sacred, and Very Little Makes Sense.
